The vertical dashed black line indicates the maximum tolerable thickness [equation (10)[link]] for complying with the Maréchal criterion [equation (9)[link]], that is, σλ/14 ≃ 2.08 µm. The partially coherent simulations were performed with 104 wavefronts.
