Scale bars indicate image scale. (a) Heating with a geoHEAT 60_NIR objective at a magnification of 8.3×. (b) Heating with a Mitutoyo M Plan Apo 20× objective at a magnification of 25×. The diameter of the gasket hole is 100 µm in both cases. For comparison of magnification, the size of the spectrometer pinhole relative to the hot spot should be considered.
