LD core heterogeneity revealed by cryo-SXT. WT, TM Dga1+ and TM Are2+ cells were vitrified on transmission electron microscopy gold grids using plunge freezing in liquid ethane, and observed under the transmission X-ray microscope of the MISTRAL beamline from the ALBA synchrotron. The tomographies were reconstructed from a series of tilt projections. The virtual reconstructed slices are from WT cell (a), TM Dga1+ cell (b) and TM Are2+ cell (c).
