Note that the top of the main peak is no longer limited to the full well of a fixed-gain operation mode, as it was for Fig. 8[link]. Pixels amplified by high gain (red) and medium gain (blue data points) are shown with different colours to show the result of the auto-adaptive-gain modulation. Note that, because of parameter dispersion, each pixel has its own gain transition point, which results on some pixels reducing their gain earlier than others.
