The first step (blue) aims to characterize the dosimeter behavior, i.e. to determine the production yield (G) of the radio-induced dosimeter's modification upon exposure to the beam. It therefore requires a good knowledge of both the beam and the sample. The second step (orange) consists of using the calibrated dosimeter to determine the dose from the quantification of the dosimeter's change in response to the irradiation. |
