Evolution for NiFe of the maximum intensity of the XMCD signals as a function of temperature at both Fe (circles) and Ni (triangles) K-edges along with the macroscopic magnetization recorded by SQUID magnetometry (red curve). All the data were recorded for a 1.3 T magnetic field. The macroscopic magnetization at 4 K (47.4 × 103 emu mol−1) was renormalized so that the value is also set to 1.
