Elemental maps of V, Ti, Cr and Mn normalized by the incoming photons flux. The diagonal of the scattering matrix displays the `Density plot' of each fluorescence counting signal. This allows to access to the distribution of the fluorescence intensity along the whole sample. All the elemental distributions (shown along the diagonal of the scattering matrix in Fig. 3[link]) are bimodal (two main features in the diagonal of the scattering matrix).
