Simulation of the beam, for a wavelength of 10 µm, at the two intermediate focused images of the source: (a) at the first focus and (b) at the second focus. The main images have been calculated using SRW (bottom), while the top images have been calculated using SpotX. SRW and SpotX simulations are on the same scale and provide consistent results despite the nature of the simulation (Fourier optics propagation versus ray tracing).
