Rows (a)–(d) and (e)–(h) show the emission intensities of λ_em = 390, 500, 588 and 698 nm as a function of Eu²⁺ and Eu³⁺ ions, respectively. A pixel-by-pixel analysis can be conducted to determine the overall correlation between the λ_em = 390, 500, 588 and 698 nm and Eu²⁺ and Eu³⁺ ions.
