Experimental XRD pattern measured operando at position 26 mm and results of the Rietveld refinement (experimental data in orange, calculated in black, difference calculated–experimental in gray). The two areas around 3.5° and 4.9° have been masked out of the refinement because of the relatively large contribution from γ-Al2O3. Reaction conditions: C2H6/O2/N2:10/10/80, 515°C, 1 bar, OD 6 mm/ID 5.6 mm, 38 mm catalyst bed, 15 ml min−1, 30 wt% MoO3/γ-Al2O3, beam size 0.5 × 0.5 (H × V), 103.413 keV (λ = 0.1199 Å).
