Comparison of the LGPAR and [\alpha\bar{T\,}\!\!_{k}] from the APE for experimental data. Three cases are considered, (a) and (c) O 1s, (b) C 1s and (d) S 2p. The different colors for the scattered dots correspond to the different experimental conditions. For an experimental condition, each scatter dot represents a different photon energy. For each condition the average [\alpha\bar{T\,}\!] is represented by a larger and lighter color dot. The blue line is the linear fit (in log–log space) for the O 1s data, and an offset has been applied to the fit for C 1s and S 2p for the sake of comparison.
