Phase-retrieved objects for different levels of Γθ. Note that the reference object here is the model, before the simulation of diffraction and phase retrieval. Planes 1 and 2 represent two perpendicular sections of the nanoparticle, as illustrated in the figure. The first and the third columns show the amplitude of the reference particle and reconstructed particles from different distorted datasets, respectively. The second and the fourth columns display the corresponding phase distribution. Identical phase-retrieval parameters were applied for all reconstructions. The last column displays the reconstructed morphologies from various levels of Γθ.
