(a) EXAFS spectra at the Fe K-edge and (b) associated Fourier transform moduli extracted from a pixel at the center of the catalyst bed. The extraction of EXAFS spectra has been performed on a RoI with a single vertical pixel of size equal to 500 raw pixels (812.5 µm), for covering the inner radial section of a capillary of 1.2 mm diameter, and 25 slices, each being equal to 40 raw pixels (65 µm), for slicing axially the catalyst bed in equal sections, as displayed in (c). The EXAFS spectra were reported at pixel Px = 13, i.e. just above the gas blower nozzle. A single cube measured in 11.1 s has been used for EXAFS extraction. The cubes are related to the temperatures for which speciation maps are presented in Fig. 16. EXAFS and Fourier extraction parameters are reported in Table S3. |
