The momentum resolution along the time-of-flight (vertical) axis is better than along the position detection (horizontal) axis. The circular polarization results in a circle with a radius of 7 a.u. and is used as a reference to assess the quality of the calibration. The bottom panels show for each of these polarizations the momentum distributions integrated over the radial coordinate (blue dots), their corresponding fit (orange curve) and the retrieved polarization angle (red line). |
