The primary components in the OH, from upstream to downstream, include QBPM-1 [comprising photodiodes (PD) and changeable foils], the M1 mirror, the Si(111) DCM, the M2 and M3 mirrors, and QBPM-2. The X-ray beam (blue line) is focused by a Be-CRL, passes through a QBPM, and is delivered to the multi-functional chamber at the FXS endstation of the XSS beamline. For time-resolved experiments, the optical laser pump, manipulated within a closure system (blue), is directed into the chamber. (b) Energy profile of the pink beam centered at Ei = 2.977 keV.
