(a) Beam sizes and intensities depending on the position along the XFEL axis. The positive direction of the position is upstream. The highest intensity was obtained to be 2.5 × 1019 W cm−2. Also, results of the knife-edge scanning method for (b) horizontal and (c) vertical directions. The focal sizes, derived using the differential results of raw data, were determined to be 150 nm (horizontal) and 220 nm (vertical).
