The left-hand panel shows the image at the detector for increasing misalignment. The second panel shows the image detrended with a second-order polynomial, which can remove the curvature. The third panel shows the vertical beam profile and the right-hand panel shows the resulting energy resolution as a function of the angular misalignment. The second row shows the same for roll misalignment and the third row the same for yaw misalignment. Images are offset for clarity. The noise in the resolution plots is due to the finite number of rays used in the ray tracing.
