The crystal structure of (NH4)4Cd(HSeIVO3)2(SeVIO4)2 projected along [010]. CdO6 octahedra are linked via bridging HSeO3 groups to form heteropolyhedral infinite chains running along [100]. Each CdO6 octahedron has two trans O vertices decorated with SeO4 tetrahedra (marked with crosses). The two NH4 groups are involved in weak hydrogen bonding (see text).
