Structural data of the orthorhombic and the trigonal crystal forms are from PDB entries 1utn and 1uto , respectively (Leiros et al., 2004BB22). The unit-cell dimensions at 100 K are about a = 54 Å, b = 57 Å and c = 66 Å for the orthorhombic crystal form and a = b = 55 Å and c = 107 Å for the trigonal crystal form. Solvent channels along the y axis in the orthorhombic crystals are about 16 Å × 21 Å in size. The largest continuous solvent channels along the y axis in the trigonal crystals have dimensions of about 12 Å × 16 Å. The figure was created with MOLSCRIPT (Kraulis, 1991BB18).
