Radiation damage to a 92 × 100 detector used in fuel-spray radiography experiments. Shown is an image taken with zero X-ray dose. The four darker rectangular regions are regions which have received significant radiation dose and have become damaged, shifting the zero dose level by as much as 30% of full well capacity. The light-colored regions are normal undamaged areas. The boundaries of the damaged regions show an odd/even row pattern due to the asymmetric layout of the pixel electronics in the CMOS chip.
