55Fe spectrum measured with the frame store pn-CCD at 190 K. Owing to the small (in comparison to XMM) 75 µm × 75 µm pixel size the signal charge is usually spread to more than one pixel. A FWHM of 120 eV is obtained when one selects events in which all charge is contained in a single pixel. By allowing a spread into up to four pixels, one obtains a FWHM of 131 eV.
