55Fe spectrum measured at room temperature in a 1 mm × 1 mm pixel of an 8 × 8 macro-pixel matrix with 6 µs continuous shaping. The increase in the noise compared with single DEPFET cells is due to the leakage current in the large sensitive volume of 1 mm × 1 mm × 0.45 mm. That can be reduced by cooling the device.
