The catalytic residue Ser97 is drawn as yellow sticks and Ala138 is drawn as red sticks. L2 corresponds to the disordered loop in the 1510-N wild-type structure (Yokoyama et al., 2006BB19). `N' and `C' denote the N and C termini, respectively. One symmetry-related molecule is also shown in grey. A crystallographic twofold axis relating two molecules runs vertically in the figure plane. The dimer (type 1) was observed in the 1510-N wild-type structure (Yokoyama et al., 2006BB19).
