Angular positions of extra reflections (b) for beams parallel to the plane of the Rowland circle (ψ = 0°), and for beams inclined to that plane by (a) ψ = +1° and (c) ψ = −1° around the (440) vector. The bands show the trajectories of reciprocal lattice points (relps) from [0.999\,r_{\rm{E}}^\ast] to [1.001\,r_{\rm{E}}^\ast] through the Ewald sphere of radius [r_{\rm{E}}^\ast]. The multiple reflection that gives rise to an observable glitch is marked by arrows in graph (b) and can be found at almost the same θB also in the graphs (a) and (c).
