Figure 5
Superposition of the simulated pole figures of a RUB crystal with the (100) plane parallel to the image plane and of a TEN crystal with the (001) plane parallel to the image plane. The {1 1 2} and the [(0\,\,\bar1\,\,1)] reflections are reported for RUB and TEN, respectively. The concentric circles are separated by Δψ = 15°. The two pole figures are superimposed with an azimuth such that the azimuthal angle between the [(1\,\,\bar1\,\,\bar2)] reflection of RUB and the [(0\,\,\bar1\,\,1)] reflection of TEN, labelled as Δφ, is consistent with the experimentally determined one (36°). On the outer circle (corresponding to ψ = 90°) the [0 1 0], [0 0 1] and [[0\,\,\bar2\,\,\bar1]] RUB direct lattice directions and the [1 0 0], [0 1 0] and [[1\,\,\bar1\,\,0]] TEN direct lattice directions are also reported, as used in the text to determine the epitaxial relationship between the overlayer and the substrate.
