Horizontal line averages (averages of flat-field corrected projection images along the vertical direction) of a real (cyan) and simulated (magenta) acrylic glass cuboid edge. On the left is the full field of view showing the correct absorption simulation. On the right is the cropped part around the cuboid edge showing that the simulation of the edge enhancement is in good agreement with the real data. The propagation distance between the cuboid and the detector was 942 mm.
