Strong fringes appear due to the barium sulfate stain. (b) Barium sulfate grains become clearly resolved upon iterative reconstruction. Here, 500 iterations using the RAAR scheme have been used for a good reconstruction. Higher gray values in the center of the cell seem to depict the cell body.
