Characterization of the spatial coherence. (a) The radial intensity is fit to the structure factor of an ideal sphere by incorporating the spatial coherence with details described in the text. Best fit to the data is obtained for the coherence length of 1.16 µm (blue solid line). Others for the spatial coherence lengths of 0.6 µm (magenta) and 2.5 µm (dark brown) are compared. (b) The spatial coherence lengths for single X-ray pulses from SACLA are obtained. The average value was 0.94 ± 0.11 µm (red dashed line).
