Figure 1 The mol­ecule structure of the title compound showing the atom-labelling scheme. The octa­hedral [Mg(C10H8N2)(H2O)4]2+ complex cation is balanced by two fluorbenzoate anions. The two coordinated water mol­ecules of the complex cation are hydrogen bonded to two anions. Displacement ellipsoids are drawn at the 40% probability level (symmetry code:(i)-x,y,-z+1/2).
