The [Fe(dipa₂)]²⁺ cation and tcpd²⁻ anion in the title compound. Atoms in the cation with the # suffix are related to the asymmetric unit by (1 − x, y, $[3 \over 2]$ − z). Only one orientation of the disordered anion is shown. Displacement ellipsoids are drawn at the probability 50% level.
