The German Young Crystallographers, in collaboration with the IUCr Journals, invite submissions for a special issue celebrating the achievements of early-career researchers across the broad and interdisciplinary field of crystallography. The issue aims to highlight and celebrate the essential contributions of work from emerging scientists to the field of crystallography.
Submissions are welcome from all areas of crystallography, including but not limited to chemical and structural crystallography, macromolecular crystallography, powder diffraction, synchrotron and neutron methods, electron crystallography, materials science, instrumentation, quantum crystallography, and computational or data-driven approaches.
Eligibility
All publications, where early-career scientists had an essential contribution to the research, are eligible for participation in this special issue. We consider everyone an early-career researcher who is either an undergraduate/post-graduate student or does not currently hold a permanent position. There is no age limit!
Why submit?
- Increased visibility within the international crystallography community
- Opportunity to support reviewer training for emerging scientists
- Showcase interdisciplinary and innovative research
