Expression of PA2949 in P. aeruginosa. P. aeruginosa PA01 strain carrying pBBR1mcs-3 (empty-vector control, dashed line) or pBBR-pa2949 (solid line) was grown in LB medium at 37°C; cells were collected at five (1–5) different growth stages (the respective OD580 nm values are indicated above the arrows). Cells equivalent to 100 µl of culture with an OD580 nm of 1 were analyzed by SDS–PAGE and the presence of PA2949 in each sample was tested by Western blotting using anti-His-tag antibodies. Purified PA2949 (+C) was used as a positive control. |
