Layout of the SR-µCT experiment performed using the 6C BMI beamline at PLS-II. A 23 keV monochromatic beam from a double multilayer monochromator (DMM) attenuated by a graphite attenuator was used. The beam propagated 20 cm from the bone-biopsy sample to a scintillation crystal (YAG:Ce, thickness 50 µm) that converted the monochromatic X-rays into visible light on an object lens (×4). |
