The extracted contrast values from different algorithms at fixed count rate [\bar{k} = 0.01] photons per pixel are for σr = 3 and σr = 0. For both cases, σg = 0.5% and S = 0.385. The gray dashed line indicates the correct solution. The slopes for the four fitted lines for the extracted contrast values using LSF with σr = 3, LSF with σr = 0, GG and PPC for both σr values are 1.2 ± 0.1, 1.1 ± 0.1, 0.93 ± 0.09 and 0.72 ± 0.07, respectively.
