Influence of the detector size on the estimated speckle contrast using (a) β_1,2 and (b) β_V. For each 〈I〉 a set of 5 × 10⁸ random numbers was generated that follow the distribution of equation (2). These were distributed into sets according to the number of pixels in the detector.
