(b) Height profile showing the deformation of the mirror in this clamping configuration, obtained as the difference between the measured height profile when clamped, and the measured height profile when free-standing. A large deformation is seen of more than 100 nm, which is most severe at the thinner end of the mirror, indicating the force applied by clamping significantly impacts the height profile of the mirror.
