Flux density of a V-SC-MPW with a peak magnetic field of 2.44 T, a period length of 85 mm and the number of periods of 7 (V-SC-MPW-1 discussed later), which satisfies the specifications listed in Table 1[link]. A beam energy of 2.5 GeV, a beam current of 450 mA and a horizontal beam emittance of 34.6 nm mrad are assumed, which are based on the parameters of PF. For comparison, spectra of the existing V-SC-WLS and bending magnets in PF are shown. The V-SC-MPW provides sufficiently high flux in the hard X-ray region even with the compact design.
