The figure shows three optical functions: $[\sqrt{\beta_x}]$ and $[\sqrt{\beta_y}]$ (square root of the horizontal and vertical betatron functions, respectively) and η_x (horizontal dispersion function). The emittance change calculations assumed the installation of a V-SC-MPW in either the 10 m achromatic straight section or the 2 m non-achromatic straight section located at both ends of the cell.
