Shown are the distributions over the average values of τ and [{\rm MSE} [{\bf y}_{\rm GT}, {\hat {\bf y}}]] within the subset of pixels defined as signal [{\cal Y}] and across a total of nine runs each. The increased exposure times in the adaptive scans indicate that the agent has correctly identified and emphasized the signal region while maintaining the same overall scanning time.
