Figure 4
Intensity transmitted through a 50 nm-thick Co91Tb9 alloy sample using an SZP with s = +1 at 155 eV (Tb N4,5-edge). The image (512 pixels, or ∼6.9 mm, wide) was collected with the CCD detector ∼200 mm behind the sample. The intense central spot corresponds to the diverging beam diffracted by the SZP and transmitted through the sample. Speckles observed at larger angles are due to the resonant coherent scattering from the meandric magnetic domain structure.
