One example of data sampling is shown in (d) where the data acquisition follows uniform k-grid sampling before and after the absorption edge. While such sampling does not have physical meaning for the pre-edge region, it provides a way to densely sample sharp pre-edge peaks and then gradually reduce sampling density for the featureless pre-edge region. The V K-edge BiVO4 XAS spectrum was denoised using a Butterworth denoiser and an XAS warping function. |
