Study of the proposed stopping criteria for the ACURISS strategy. After 100 trials, the means of the completion absolute error for ACURISS (blue triangles), the completion stopping criteria (blue crosses), the spectra approximation absolute error computed from the full matrix (orange open circles), and the spectral stopping criteria (orange asterisks) and are presented. We observe that the behavior of the stopping criteria can mirror that of the actual errors, but with potentially different magnitudes, suggesting that their stagnation may serve as a useful indicator that little further improvement in ACURISS is achievable.
