The title cobalt vanadophosphate dihydrate contains flat layers of VO5 and PO4 polyhedra covalently linked by CoII ions coordinated to vanadyl O atoms. This is believed to be the first example of a layered vanadophosphate bridged by a transition metal ion in this manner.

Sr2[Cu(OH)6] crystallizes in the monoclinic system in the space group P21/n (No. 14). The crystal structure is built up from mutually isolated highly elongated Cu(OH)6 octa­hedra and trigonal Sr(OH)6 prisms, forming layers parallel to (110). The Cu(OH)6 octa­hedra are connected into an infinite three-dimensional framework of hydrogen bonds.

The title compound, Na10(Na,Mn)7Mn43(PO4)36, has been synthesized hydro­thermally. Its crystal structure is similar to that of natural fillowite-type phosphates and can be described as a hexa­gonal packing of three types of rods parallel to the c axis, which show an alternation of Mn, Na and P sites and lattice vacancies.

The title compound, tetra­amminedibromidochromium(III) diamminetetra­bromidochromium(III), crystallizes in the space group P\overline{1} (Z = 1). The structure is composed of octa­hedral trans-[CrBr2(NH3)4]+ cations and octa­hedral trans-[CrBr4(NH3)2] anions adopting a distorted CsCl-type lattice.
