Atmospheric pressure conversion electron yield X-ray absorption measurements at temperatures from 4.2 to 300 K provide information on the temperature dependence of structural and dynamic properties of embedded clusters and thin films. A new device capable of electron yield measurements in this temperature range has been installed on beamline D42 in LURE.
