Comparison of normalized Cu K-edge XANES spectra acquired in the decreasing-angle (down) and increasing-angle (up) directions at oscillation frequencies of (a) 1, (b) 10, (c) 20, (d) 30, (e) 40 and (f) 50 Hz, corresponding to acquisition times of 500, 50, 25, 16.7, 12.5 and 10 ms per spectrum, respectively. Spectra from both directions were processed using the same angular-binning, filtering and fixed energy-calibration procedure. No spectrum-by-spectrum energy realignment was applied.
