Three hexa­fluorido­iridates(IV), Ca[IrF₆]·2H₂O, Sr[IrF₆]·2H₂O and Ba[IrF₆]

In the structures of Ca[IrF₆]·2H₂O and Sr[IrF₆]·2H₂O, the cations have distorted square-anti­prismatic coordinations. In Ba[IrF₆], the cation has a cubocta­hedral coordination. All three structures can be described as frameworks.

Rare-earth site splitting in Sm₃MoO₇

The title compound is isomorphous with the La and Pr members of the Ln₃MoO₇ series. However, a splitting of one of the lanthanide sites into two positions is observed in Sm₃MoO₇.
