The room-temperature structure of Lentinus similis AA9_A was refined jointly against X-ray and neutron crystallographic data extending to 2.1 and 2.8 Å resolution, respectively.

The high-resolution crystal structure of an Acinetobacter baumannii protein previously reported as being dependent on the type VI secretion system has been determined. Structural and sequence comparisons reveal significant conservation with the tautomerase superfamily of enzymes, which are not generally noted as being associated with this secretion system. The protein does not display toxicity when produced in either a bacterial or a yeast system. The implications of these observations are discussed.

The crystal structure of the C-terminal domain of the plant-specific microtubule minus-end-targeting protein Spiral2 was determined to 2.2 Å resolution. The structure is shown to be similar to the C-terminal domain of the katanin regulatory subunit p80.

The first serial synchrotron crystallographic structure of apo PTP1B is reported and the conformational heterogeneity at several allosteric sites is compared with that seen in prior structures.
