Cover illustration: This benzene-solvated fullerene, and an isomer reported in a companion paper, are the first fullerene derivatives to have exactly 12 substituents. Both isomers are of low symmetry, with most of the CF3 substituents on ribbons of edge-sharing hexagons. See Kareev, Lebedkin, Miller, Anderson, Strauss & Boltalina [Acta Cryst. (2006), E62, o620-o622 and o617-o619].
