Cover illustration: Dichloridobis(methylamine- [kappa] N)boron(III) chloride is the first crystallographically characterized di(alkylamine)-BCl₂⁺ salt. The boron atom is tetrahedrally coordinated and, in the crystal structure, cations and anions are linked by N-HCl hydrogen bonds, resulting in a layered structure.
