Cover illustration: The compound, C₂₂H₁₆N₂O₄S₂, was prepared from the reaction of 2,2'-dithiobis(benzenamine) with furan-2-carbonyl chloride as an intermediate for the synthesis of multidentate chelating agents with various ligand donor atoms. The molecule adopts a helical structure in the solid state. See Raftery, Lallbeeharry, Bhowon, Laulloo & Joule [Acta Cryst. (2009). E65, o16].
